I think this is my first english post ever (at least in this blog). As I noticed that I received some visitors outside Brazil (probably for the english written tags about my music posts), I decided to give my english skills a chance and give a present to all music lovers around the world.
As you may have guessed, it is a music download, but don’t panic! It is comepletely safe and legal. If you like that kind of delicate sounds with reflexive lyrics, You’ll definetely like Tatá Aeroplano. He’s made the songs for a short movie called “Eu não quero voltar sozinho” (I don’t wanna go home alone), released in 2010. Until now, this film has got 115 awards around the world, and the director and his crew used the internet tools for a massive promo work that helped grow its audience.
The plot talks about Leornado, a 15 years old teenager who’s blind and starts to deal with his feelings towards his new friend at school, Gabriel. Besides that, Leo will have to face the growing jealousy from Giovanna, his best friend, who secretly loves him.
Yeah, the main character is a gay boy, and yeah, you’ll think “I’ve seen this story before”, but sit down, press play and watch a simple tale shown with such honestly and respect for this subject. Go ahead, this one’s got english subtitles:
Whether you like the movie or not, you’ll have to admit that the soundtrack is really nice. Soooo, here you got it! (Click on the song’s title): “Beijo roubado em segredo” (Secret Stolen Kiss), by Tatá Aeroplano, written for this short movie, which will hit the big screen in 2014. The long version of this script has just started shooting this month, with the same actors and crew. As time passed, the director decided not to make a sequel, using the first one as a “pilot project”.
The new script will show the same characters, on a much wide scenery. Now, Leonardo and Gabriel will meet at their 18’s, and other important points will receive attention, as their routine at school and their family conflicts. This new experience will be called “Todas as Coisas Mais Simples” (All the simple things) and it doesn’t have a date release, as it’s being developed without any big studio on the background.
The production is strongly firmed on the main social networks at the web. For a good start and discover all the links, Just go to the movie’s official Facebook fanpage and get the latest news, pictures, interviews and some other interesting downloads:
